The St. Regis Mexico City was built in 2009 by Argentine architect Cesar Pelli and has since been a meeting point for celebrities and tourists from all the world.
The St. Regis Suite, a crucial part of the anniversary, was created by PGM Arquitectos and is located on the 14th floor to offer guests beautiful panoramic views of the Paseo de la Reforma. This renovated space not only offers a luxurious ambience, but also reflects the essence and distinctive character of the hotel.
Rodrigo Rizzi, General Manager of St. Regis Mexico City explained “our renovated St. Regis Suite, redefines the concept of hospitality; it represents the spirit of the hotel, combining modernity and functionality, without losing the timeless essence that characterises the St. Regis brand globally, which recently celebrated 120 years of legacy,” he continued “this space has been transformed into a sanctuary of sophistication and comfort for our guests.”
Maison Veuve Clicquot celebrated the first 15 years of the resort and personalised a hundred bottles of its Arrow presentation. The Mâitre d’Hotel performed the art of sabrage, which consists in uncorking a bottle of champagne with a sword and a clean and precise movement for the tasting of its distinguished guests. This art dates back to the battles of Napoleon Bonaparte, who famously opened champagne with his saber in both victory and defeat.
In addition, St. Regis Mexico City recently introduced the newly renovated Garden Suites, exclusive rooms with outdoor areas, private Jacuzzi, fireplace, wooden pergola and swimming pool.
