After four days of competition, the triumph was won by Aussies Stephanie Gilmore and Jack Robinson.

A close competition between Hawaiian Malia Manuel and Stephanie Gilmore decided that the Australian took the trophy of the competition. It was not an easy final, Malia fought all the way, surfed the right waves and her score was very high, but Stephanie didn’t let herself be beaten and her constant work and patience managed to have a higher score of 15.83 over 15.27 that Malia achieved.

“This final was tough because every time Malia Manuel walked by me, I had ‘The Forever’ on my back, and I felt like I had ‘the mana’. I knew it was going to be a tough final, but it’s the best feeling I’ve ever had… This place is amazing, it’s like being at home and I really love it here, I’m so proud to win here,” Stephanie commented.

In the men’s final, Brazilian’s Deivid Silva with his deadly backhand failed to beat Jack Robinson and his fabulous ‘barrel-air’ combination that carried him to success after earning a score of 15.16 over Silva’s close 15.14.

“We did it and I don’t even know where to start,” said Jack after emitting an emotional scream. “I was trying to bring the energy …when I’m in a certain zone, I don’t say too much and I was in that zone this week, I was just able to rise above the level of surfing everyone was in I felt like I could do that in every heat,” described the rookie 2021 Championship Tour winner.
